So as of 7/31, the players with their ages throughout the season

GK: MATS (31-32), Peña (23-24)
RB: Kounde (24-25)
CB: Araujo (24-25), Christensen (27-28), Martinez (32), Faye (19)
LB: Balde (19-20), Alonso (32-33)

RCM: Pedri (20-21), Gundogan (32-33)
CDM: Romeu (32), Garcia??? (22-23)
CM: FDJ (26), Bob (31-32)
LCM: Gavi (19), Kessie (26-27), Fermin Lopez (20)

RW: Raphinha (26-27), Lamine (16)
CF: Lewy (35), Torres (23-24), Vitor (18-19)
LW: Fati (20-21), Abde (21-22)

With Dembele gone, we might need to try Torres/Abde on the RW in Xavi's system as for me, Raphinha does his best when cutting inside to the half space.

It's time for Ferran Torres to revert back to his Valencia/Early Spain days when he was showing he could be World Class at RW/SS It is all setting up for him. 2 goals in 2 games. We need him now. Raphinha is a finished product we know what we will get from him. Ferran still has potential.

Without dribbling, speed we won't score many goals. Sadly.

Us selling Abde and Dembele is lunatic idea.

The situation at RW looks bleak, unless we somehow manage to get Bernardo to play there

IMO Abde will leave again on loan. No matter the leaks saying they count on him, the system dictates the needs and the playing time.
The box mid with no LW is not changing (for many many reasons), and Abde is not a RW
I see Ferran staying and being the sub of our starter in Raphina at RW.
Dreary me...
it's going to be a looong season

If Dembele leaves, Ferran might actually overtake no.1 choice for RW from Raphina. You heard it here first.

Don't know why Xavi is so vocal about new signings. Considering the circumstances (our financial situation, market inflation, lack of quality players available) all we really need is a RB.
And there I'd rather we avoid Cancelo.

Other than getting lucky with Christensen and playing Balde, his signings and squad planning have been awful.

Gavi and Kounde could be affected most with new signings and this formation.

Maybe other 3-4-3 formation is possible, like this.
