Also, Tempt trying to give Mourinho credit for McTominay, when Mourinho is the one who tried to use him as a centre back and defensive midfielder, both positions he's wank in. More fanboyism for his favourite manager.

He's scored 11 league goals this season (maybe 12 now) playing as a glorified box crasher or striker.

It is hardly the stuff of dreams. The standards are just so low these days that a good but not great goalscorer like him is being treated like he's fantastic.

Napoli will likely fall away again next season.

Who knows

Only if Juve picks itself up, gets a proper manager and sorts out some positions. Then it will be them v Inter

If not, Napoli is still most likely to compete with Inter next season

But next season more competitions so it will be significantly harder. Milan will be completely free but they seem to lack any vision in the transfer market even though their squad needs massive changes.

I expect Inter to win the league next season. They have the best squad by far. They should really have won it this season as Napoli slipped up plenty of times, but Inter fucked up.

Napoli are the sort of club who can win the odd title (like they did a few seasons ago) but they aren't a consistent, dominating threat. They just aren't that sort of club. It's taken them playing out of their skin just to get over the line by a point on the last day.

Anyway, it's not to slag off McSauce. He has done very well in his goalscoring role. Hats off.

Just all the wankery about United selling him being a huge mistake is bollocks. Had he stayed they might be a bit better but they'd still be well in the bottom half. His 7-12 goals won't make much difference for them. They need real needle moving players and he wouldn't be one. Plus they had zero clue how to use him in the team anyway, and still wouldn't.

It's just a case of a player finding the right role, system and environment. He'd never have had that at United so it's a silly point.
