Platini is just as highly rated as these names. I'm too young for Platini but based on my research he's up there. Platini vs Zidane is still a debate in France.

Serie A also has Matthaus who's arguably the GOAT DM.

Serie A also has Kaka whose peak was unreal. He used to destroy opponents singlehandedly with one man counter attacks.

Attack can hardly get better than Cristiano & Messi on the wings, and shitload of all timer strikers to choose from (from Di Stefano, to Cruyff, to R9, Romario, Zamorano, Suarez, Benzema..)

People from the previous generations say that Prime R9 and Maradona were just as good as Ronaldo and Messi. Many people say Maradona is the most talented player ever born.

Back 5 is where Serie A pulls away. Ramos, Pepe, Alves, Marcelo, Puyol, Koeman etc. are great players but would be toast versus MVB, Inter R9, Maradona, Platini, and ZZ.

Serie A back 5 can keep LL to a goal each probably from Messi, CR7, and R9 (Barca)

So LM and CR7's longevity over Mara and R9 is redundant. That makes it a lot more even because they can easily chat to LM and CR7 in this metric.

I’d go with Xavi, Iniesta, Modric for the LL one (with Cruyff being better than all 3 as a player but not having the same chemistry).

LL midfield dominates the ball (no surprise), but I kinda like the Serie A midfield for the variety between ZZ/ Platini/ Matthaus/ Pirlo

ZZ and Platini bring a lot of attacking firepower and Matthaus as the shield to the back 5 would be very formidable too.

Yeah it's hard to compare names of this quality. As Leo said it would be a top match (stuff of dreams for all football fans) and probably decided on details because quality is immense on both sides
