His acceleration was better pre injury for sure. Although he likely won't regain it all, even if he acquires some of it back, it will only improve him. Might be enough to get by defenders, where as of right now his ball control and cleverness is usually not enough.

Either way, at 2mil, this was an amazing deal for us. If he gets his speed back and makes it here, great. If not, he should be an easy player to sell for 15mil+.

Gerard Martin seems faster than Rooney B the "winger".

Another midfielder which Barca has plenty better ones already.

Toni Fernandez should have been given the RW.

He looks like one of those temu versions of Messi who is a lefty, good technique, good combinations but in the end too slow and without end product like Halilović, Trinicao, Malcom...

I know it's very early and hope he surprises but I don't see anything better than what we already had with Toni, Dro or Diarra.

Only player of our boys that play RW is Toni and I think right now roony is better or at least more mature in his game play & physically more prepared for first division football.

Roony looks good. Not gonna lie. Pace looks like Yusuf Demir though. Who was always very good in the Gamper, and indeed against Benfica where we needed a win and he hit the post. But overall not enough speed and not enough quality.

Roony might end up that and a 5-10m sale in the end.

If everything stays the same, and he regains his fitness. Onion Bardghji is easily a 25m player, if not a 35-40m player.

He currently is the best RW behind Yamal & Raph that we have. And I don't think you can get an upgrade to him for 15-20m range.
We need to learn to sell players. Its that simple.

One thing that certainly separates him from Trincao, let alone Demir, is his grit and physicality. Despite low pace, he's p hard to dispossess. Uses his ass well. No as well as Suarez, but getting there. Given his age, that's his trump along with good technique and passing.

We bought this fella' for 2M - 19 years old coming from FC Copenhagen. Don't take it so hard, it's not a dick - if he makes it even as a rotation player for us it'll be the biggest success I've seen for us in years. If he fails, he fails - but I'm cheering him on, dude is from my hometown ❤️
