We sold Pau Victor for ~15m because of his pre season performances.

You can just imagine how much Onion Bhajji will go for

Looks pretty tidy on the ball.

It's tough coming here knowing your main competition is Yamal but I think he'll do well as a rotational option for now.

Positive vibes. And good to hear from Flick. Now all that remains is to ask Lamine if he can be benched or subbed off sometimes.

If you would be him, would you have joined us? I don't see how he won't be permabenched behind Yamal. I guess we offered the highest salary?

This guy ain't no superstar. Barely anyone even heard of him before Barca signed him.

The best thing he can do for his career is prove he can play at the level of Barca. If he can do that well, then his career will be set.

In his position, joining Barcelona is also a ballsy move. sky-high competition and sky-high expectations require sky-high confidence.

Better option would probably have been a team like Dortmund where he could play more. He obviously needs more playing time to develop.

A lot of players ahead of him in the pecking order. Don’t see him starting unless we have an injury crisis but maybe he will surprise. You never know.

If Flick cuts the shit and has the balls to sub starters when we lead by 3-4 goals, he'll get plenty minutes.
Hope so, but having one of the biggest sensations ahead of you is never a good thing for a young footballer who needs to develop.

Sure, he may get minutes, but at his age, he should be playing every game preferably. Well that is my take.

Anyway, there should be enough minutes to go around for him to get a fair chance to show if he's good enough - injuries, subs and Copa games etc. I still can't get a grip on him, if he would be decent for us - but dude had a great start and I know his heart always has been at Barca.

On the flip side, there is always cause and effect.

Is Roony vastly superior to giving this short to Toni Fernandez?

Will we regret if Toni looks for an exit and turns into a 60m player like Xavi Simons?

If roony turns into one too?, not really given how much he cost.

But when a masia player turns on well here, it's better for club moral and the fans are more affectionate towards that players, just better overall

If not for his torn ACL he would have probably signed for Porto, Benfica, Dortmund or Lille last summer and be hyped up as a 30m+ signing at least for this year.

He's a talented player and he was being mentioned as a possible top talent 2-3 years ago like when he scored the winner vs. Man Utd in the CL for FCK.

We'll see if his long-term future is at Barca, but people going crazy over a 2m signing calling it for money laundering was funny.
