A player who flies under the radar most of the time.
Should be Villa's successor in Spanish national team but Del Bosque seems to prefer Torres

Mou's record with pressuring referees to aid results continues

"It's difficult to come to the Bernabeu and see all those mistakes made by referees and linesmen," Soldado complained to reporters after the first-leg defeat.

"In Valencia we have been silent [while Madrid complained]. They complain a lot about the referees and there is the result.

"Referees can be wrong once, but should not be so much [as tonight]. And it makes you wonder. They don’t want to withstand the pressure of being wrong against Real Madrid.

"If it has served them to talk all this week then I think there are institutes that should control their statements. Statements that come from Real Madrid nowadays do not benefit the sport."

Soldado alleged poor referring in the Copa match regarding many offside decisions which put him through goal.

After seeing the highlights i can see he has a point. In the league match too his goal was ruled offside which would would have won the match for Valencia. Plus Higuain's goal was handball. Valencia were hard done by

It was pretty poor refereeing. And Soldado got booked apparently for shouting at the ref from 10-15 yards away. Really silly yellow card.

Atletico are linked with him. He'd probably score a bunch playing for them. Every leading Atletico striker scores lots of goals.
