Should have got Zubi for the pivots.

Or Casado for 20m.

Indonesia, lovely holiday destination but not the best place to go looking for midfielders.

Rodri light in zubi would have been a better deal

Casado better than Nico ( was good/decent in the first half), didn't watch the 2nd..

Casado a top 4 DM in EPL if he does there and plays in a double pivot, which is what everyone plays these days anyway

Casado is not a better player than Nico and would get torn to shreds for City.

If they wanted him could probably go and get him fairly easily.

Casado is barely a top 4 DM at his own club.

Casado was very good in some big games in the start of last season, most notably Madrid 4-0 and Bayern 4-1, but sample size is too small to consider him a top player.

It is the poor quality of signings that are causing City's deterioration.

Their lineup today is nowhere near good enough for the budget and reputation they have, they could sign much better players. Doku, Marmoush, Nico Gonzalez, Bobb, Trafford, Lewis, none of those are even close to being considered amongst the best in their position.

That Reijnders performance is about as bad a City midfield performance will ever see.

Only his fee kept him on for 90 mins there.

He needs to get fitter and react quicker if wants to play that box to box role from midfield.

True. I remember Bernardo and De Bruyne, and Gundogan before they signed them. All of them did some impressive things at a far bigger stage than the current lot of players they signed.
