It's a very talented squad but quite imbalanced. Lots of depth and quality in attacking positions but the 7 positions behind them aren't too strong.

Said talented squad managed to lose a Europa final to Villareal and has had CL group stage exits. I'm not buying into them until they show me something in a major competition like the league or CL.

Lmao Mateka chuffed for Pepboi to finally beat the guy that got one over him like 4 times

Chuffed is not the word. Delighted is closer. Took apart the European champions at home. To top it all United miss a penalty. Fernandes feeling the pressure of Ronaldo waiting to take them.
Oh happy day….

Champions League is a different kind of benchmark, the benchmark being which team can handle high leverage situations better. More randomness compared to the league for sure, but 7 KO games (with at least 3 at home) isn't a terribly small sample size either.

It is a lucky dip though.

The European champions are European champions because they held City to 0 goals in the game that mattered.

This one matters too, but like 5% as much. It's a well deserved win but no need to be delusional about what the stakes were.

Don't worry. Equilibrium in the universe must be maintained and City will crash out to Sevilla in the CL. Heard it here first.
