Pep Guardiola

I only take objection to the fact that someone of his stature, openly asserts his interest in a player (who at this moment is still another club's property), to the point it came across provocative. Disappointing.

Well, we know Cesc's return was inevitable, regrettably...as well as how inconsistent Guardiola can be in the transfer market...But it does add insult to injury, losing Pep & Thiago yet stuck with Fab - life can be cruel

HOLY Cow! lol

So rosell is to blame for the downfall of Barca? how so? was he the one requesting Cesc? ( who would later stop Thiago form getting more minutes and therefore is leaving today with that excuse). Was he the one to blame for bringing Cesc and not a defender ( when the defender was the priority). Was he the one to buy Alexis ( who although a good player, hasn't been able to give Barca what other players might have given Barca). Was he the one who could not longer have a plan "B" when little by little Mourinho started to defeat barca.
Where can you blame rosell? are you blaming him for what?

From 2008-2012, Rosell couldn't enforce himself much over Pep because everyone knew that he wouldn't be pushed around and that he was the top dog at the club. Cesc, Alexis, and Ibra were Pep's mistakes and all that wasn't really a display of Rosell taking away from the club. However aside from Pep's handling of the first team, there were other things Rosell was able to mess with that brought things down such as letting go of Cruyff, appointing Eusebio as B team coach, and various sketchy market investments. He was picking apart the people from Laporta's crew little by little, destroying the legacy he left.

After Pep left is when Rosell could really start putting his control over the club and having a visible influence. He appointed Tito as first team coach, keeping the 3 coaches (Roura, Eusebio, Tito) as his pawns and assuming that they could easily recreate our previous success by attempting to copy Pep's system in a passive way. Youth development was all but shunned and football-wise, Rosell did nothing and instead focused on his marketing developments and the single Neymar transfer without bringing in a defender or focusing on our footballing priorities. Rosell degraded our very philosophy, left the footballing aspect of the club to fend for itself, and instead simply poured all his interest into the financial aspect which "helped" our debt but at what cost?

Shame on you , Cules. Not glory hunters you are. But too greedy at times , more so hypocrites or too immature. Really?

1. Thiago wants to leave FC BARCELONA.

2. Thiago has apparently two major options. Manchester United & FC Bayern Munich.

3. Thiago will 99.9 % leave according to all sources. So if thiago leaves for Manchester United , Thiago is bad. Thiago f*ck you. Okay.

4. Thiago will definitely make a move. So Pep as a professional asks for the player, knowing thiago will improve more in FC Bayern under him than Unites. Yes it will also benefit FC bayern. True stroy, professional.

5. FC Barcelona can't assure Thiago playing time , doesn't want to approach him and you guys expect him to stay. Which surely he won't.

6. Guardiola becomes the traitor? If Thiago is already saying goodbye to FC barcelona then its either United or Bayern. BUt it will never be FC barcelona.

Do you guys even logic?? The guy said he won't approach any Barcelona player. Here the barcelona player aka Thiago wants to get out.

Pep Guardiola is the legend of this club. Be sure of it. No one from catalonia thinks bad of Pep , you are free to think about it. Rosell will do his dirty job and let him go so that it can look like a bad image for Pep Guardiola.

The guy was a ball boy, captain, youth team coach, first team coach and more than that a global face of Barca. You are ruining it without even doing a simple bit of logic. What are you, true Cules? Really. Come in perspective please, for god's sake.

1. Never said it, it was all speculation from the media. As long as he did not speak about wanting to leave the club that argument goes down the drain.

I thought about this too, but I couldn't remember if this was a common practice of his, while he was a Barca coach too. Does anybody remember any incident?

You didn't object when he and others did the same thing to get Cesc. No one objected because back then we were trying and now Bayern is. Back then Cesc was the property of Arsenal and now we are. Back then Cesc wanted to move and now Thiago wants to move.

Not a single cule objected then. If it really comes to logic and how much ideally you approve of things , this is simply hypocrisy. Additionally also , Pep is nowhere here to blame. He was always straight forward about things , as open as it can get. Plus Thiago would go to United if not Bayern , so as a professional he has all right to approach a guy who is/wants to leave FC Barcelona.

He never did overdo it or force it.

Dont need to lecture anyone about what Pep did for the club or try and come across as superior and others 'glory hunters'.

Pep can act how he wants as he is entitled to, but we dont all have to continue to kiss his arse if we feel he is making decisions that weaken the club.

He knows fine well he is a big pull for the players at the club and this 'Thiago was already unhappy' argument doesnt make much difference.

As I said before if Busquets does not like his next contract offer is Pep allowed to swoop in and talk to him behind the back of the club promising him a massive pay rise etc.

It is not any different.

he's just trying to get back at rosell. Ther worst part if that he thinks rosell is to blame for the rumor that Pep tried to stop Neymar for coming to barca ( which is partially true) but still, Rosell has nothing to do with that rumor.

Should we be surprised that one of Pep's ( if not his best) friend is Cruyff who recently came out to say that "with Neymar in the club, I would sell Messi" or claiming that Neymar and Messi will never get along?

Pep and Cruyff hate Rosell and b.c of their egos would rather hurt barca if that means that they can get back at Rosell.

Well in that case even your speculation goes down the drain simply cause even you don't know whether Thiago wanted to move out or not in personal. We don't know what he or his agent is doing at the moment. So aren't you blaming Pep, without knowing anything, a little too much?

It's been a year.

We threw all our eggs in two baskets trying to get Thiago Silva and Javi Martinez last summer and came up short. Rosell had no idea that Puyol would get injured again and Mascherano as a CB was Pep's idea. We refused to activate Javi's buyout last summer because 40M seemed like it was too much for him, especially considering we were going to bring him in as a CB and he only had a year of playing there under Bielsa. If he can pull the deal off for Thiago Silva, I'll be mightily impressed. I started watching the kid Marquinhos when it was rumored very early on that Rosell was interested and the kid looks amazing.

Rosell is doing the right things like letting Deulofeu go on loan to Everton even though Tito tried suggesting for him to stay and get a marginal number of games with the first team and play with the B team again.

Blame Rosell then. Kiss his ass? Really. Rosell and our present coach guarantee Thiago playing time and the player is being greedy and impatient and willingly moving out of the club and you want other clubs to refuse a young talent.

Keep living in your fantasy world then.
