I'm not sure about him at all... We need midfielder that CAN PASS. And that's not Pogba's strong side. I'm afraid he might end up like Rakitic - good player, who doesn't fit our style very well, the only problem is he'll be much more expensive. Verratti+Di Maria are the best choices, make it happen.

Agreed on Verratti, Di Maria however? Incredibly sloppy in possession, pretty much like Alexis.

  • - On saturday, the french paper Le_Parisien published a news that Nedved said that PSG alreayd made an offer for Pogba.
  • - Then right after, people close to Juventus said they will publish a PR to debunk that this statement is true.
  • - Le_Parisien from today stated that Juventus, in the end, never published said PR and is now completely silent about this story.

edit, wrote false instead of true, sorry.

RMC announced tonight that the president of PSG, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, he met a few weeks ago Paul Pogba, in Monaco, to outline the club's project. PSG have also approached Juventus to express its interest added radio. PSG have also started the first contractual contacts with Mino Raiola , the agent of the well known player. The Barça and especially Real Madrid also believe the transfer of the French.

Also according to RMC , the club Palermo , via Maurizio Zamparini, contacted the PSG whether Paris was really interested in his Argentine striker Paulo Dybala. Indeed, the young player is followed by PSG, like other major clubs. In 2011, the Paris Club had recruited Salvatore Sirigu and Javier Pastore in Palermo.

Laurent Blanc has confirmed in a press conference (without saying it was a scheduled appointment and within the scope of discussions for a transfer), Nasser Al-Khelaifi has met with Paul Pogba Monaco there a few weeks. This morning, Le Parisien declares in his diary that , according to Pavel Nedved, Paris Saint-Germain have "made a first transfer offers Juventus" . An information denied in stride by Gianluca Di Marzio, mercato specialist Sky. "The Paris Saint-Germain denies making an offer, and Juventus also categorically denies everything, says transalpine journalist on his website. And ensures that Pavel Nedved has not made a declaration , pending an official position could arrive soon.

And if the PSG preparing the transfer of the year? All the beams converge currently Paul Pogba. As the RMC said Wednesday, the Paris President Nasser Al-Khelaifi has met the midfielder Juventus there a few weeks in the principality of Monaco.
The appointment was nothing improvised nor accidental . The French international (22 years, 22 caps), a native of Seine-et-Marne and trained at Le Havre (Seine-Maritime), so was accompanied for the occasion by his agent, Mino Raiola, it is true based in Monaco.
Another revealing element, Juventus was informed of this appointment. This is what we confirmed yesterday Pavel Nedved, Golden Ball in 2003 and member of the board of directors of Juventus, present as such in the draw of the Champions League. How to imagine also that it be otherwise? Nasser Al-Khelaifi certainly would not have taken the risk to meet secretly a player under contract with Juventus until 2019. It would have been the best way to derail any negotiations. PSG ahead so do not hidden.

To believe Pavel Nedved, Parisian leaders have even made a first transfer offer their Italian counterparts to secure the services of Pogba. "Yes, PSG sent us an offer, we found Czech. But Paris is not alone. Real Madrid and FC Barcelona are also interested. "An offer? Implied, encrypted transfer proposal. Information immediately denied the Parisian camp. "No, no offer for Pogba," has just released yesterday Olivier Letang, assistant athletic director of PSG. Difficult to distinguish between the Italian transparency and Paris denial. After all, it is a classic of the transfer window. Seller club has nothing to lose to communicate, a little on the subject. The potential buyer prefers it, work behind the scenes.

After watching yesterdays game, I came to the conclusion that Pogba is not the right solution for our midfield problems. Verratti would be my first choice and Gündogan after him. It's so obvious that we need a player who is able to control the ball, even under pressure and calmly deliver great passes to any player. Busquets and Xavi are those players right now and they had a massive impact yesterday.
Signing Pogba would mean to throw away midfield control and calm posession football which is still an essential part of our success, as we saw yesterday.
Of course Pogba is able to control the ball in tight spaces as well but Verratti is unbelievably good in keeping posession under pressure which is absolutely essential when facing teams like Real Madrid who press our midfield like maniacs. Mascherano is vulnerable in this regard and Rakitic as well.

It's a shame that he isn't avaible.

I agree, yesterday's game was an eye opener. Verratti is probably impossible to get, so we must get the next best, i.e. Gündogan along with a promising youngster. I'd settle for Denis Suárez for now.

Pogba is not the type of player to control the game. But he can be iniesta replacement, more or less. Obviously not as good as iniesta but he can do just fine. What we really need is a xavi replacement. Gundogan and Verratti would be the right choice of players for our tactical demands.

Bring up Samper. The B team is doomed anyway.
