Every player exits eventually but Rafinha came back to be a first team player after a succesful loan.

This idea that loans are bad for Barca is nonsense.

Very few top teams have players they loan out then go on to be first team stars for years anyway and that is not always what loans are for either.

After Nainggolan basically killed his career. Raifinha could have had much better Barca career if he was healthy. He was one of those ultimate role players

Cuenca was a real gem, injuries derailed that career

Bartomeu screwed the pooch with Rafinha because both the player & Inter wanted him to stay but called Barto's bluff on the 35M fee they insisted on in the loan agreement. Torn ACL later and 2 years of floundering saw the club get nada when he was signed by QSG

Cuenca was never that great and as usual injuries are clubs fault when see fit.
