I found one almost as good though.

Bayer Leverkusen reach the CL final.

Proceed to sell Michael Ballack and Ze Roberto to Bayern that Summer for a combined fee of 15m.

And whose fault is that? Bayern's or Bayer's?

I don't really get what Bayern did wrong in all of these cases, it's the other German clubs' fault.

It's systetemic. The clubs/agents pressuring the clubs to take deals to Bayern for a fraction of what they couldn't sell overseas.

In the 90's Bayern used to buy key players from Karsruher SC, for example Olli Kahn, Mehmet Scholl, Michael Tarnat and Thorsten Fink. After that they did the same with Bayer Leverkusen with players like Michael Ballack, Zé Roberto, Lúcio and Robert Kovač. Then they went on to Dortmund with Lewandowski, Götze and Hummels.

Obviously it doesn't matter to much to us at Barca fans. We're just pointing that us paying BO clause for a goalkeeper and Nico (hello Javi Martinez btw) is way different than having a carte blanche of the domestic scene at cut price prices or even free.

Every time a rival builds up, chopping them at the knees for 2/3+ of their best players.

Things a bit different now with the inflation of the market and external buyers able to go big ala Wirtz, Kolo Muani, etc.

EDIT
Uff I'm getting way too much incorrect auto corrects. But you guys get the gist of what I'm saying right.

It's not just about CL, it's how Athletic (rightfully) works. They have a limited pool of players and will want to hold on to the best if they can. He won't push Athletic and he shouldn't, that's his club.

The only option is that Laporta gathers the money for full clause and Tebas allows it, I don't see that happening without a major sale (which won't happen as it looks now).

There will be no major sale. Other clubs know which ones of our players are overrated clowns and who are the real deal.

The best sale would have been Araujo, but his last back to back bum level CL campaigns scared off top buyers.

Tebas in the mud.

I can't get enough of the pleasure seeing that fuck eating Ls by Laporta.

If Laporta got a sense that La Liga rules are somewhat at a conflict with higher level civil laws... Tebas is cooked. It is becoming a joke how Tebas views his FFP, has long started to use this to prove how mighty he is. If higher courts outrule you, then you are an imbecile.

Imminent is Garcia right? The madman surely couldn't deliver us Nico and then ANOTHER arrival?
For me it doesn't sound like Garcia. But there's obviously room for interpretation. Would be weird to frame it like that when the signing is done. Also "the imminent signing will please you". Sounds more like a highlight player.
