Tough to believe it when no journalist/reporter is quoted as the source in Marca's "exclusive".

Would be quite stupid of him to join a team where he'll be playing almost exclusively on the RW or coming off the bench in probably all the games that matters depending on the system Xabi will use.

Atleast Diaz to make more sense than this shit.
No way Flo would be this retarded.

I don't think this is true. But then if Madrid are selling Rodrygo for decent money to the EPL which has been rumoured, then Perez may want to continue his bi-decadely binge of Spanish talents after a flop season with Nico.

Yep, most rumours are absolutely retarded.
This one is gamesmanship I suspect between Nico’s agents & the club

Agreed that he rebuffed signing last summer and the Barça bus typically only passes once (Cesc, ahem) but clear he couldn’t have played for us anyway considering the drama with registering Olmo…so, feels like negotiations in the media which is not unlike a lot of clickbait on transfers in past couple of years

Let the dust settle, I don’t believe you can be 100% nailed on to be in for a player you covet and less than 12 months later you have ‘moved on’ when the player is still every bit the same player coveted last summer. This is how sure I am of his signing, despite all of the recent rumours form shopping for a house in London to Laporta saying we have other targets

He will be wearing blaugrana for us

Or maybe it is Laporta telling the truth, and possibly don't see Nico as a feasible deal? Laporta rarely if ever dismiss the idea of signing a player, hell, in the same interview he didn't dismiss the idea of signing Halaand.

This feels like it is over tbh, maybe Nico himself isn't interested in joining us or want to play CL in Bilbao. He won't be the first overloyal Basque player

After the season he had, he is the one who should call Barca, not the other way around.

He had his chance, time to find other targets. There are surelly players like Barcola or Doue to find in smaller clubs, waiting for their chance to blow up.

Except the Haaland question was not a realistic consideration/link, especially since he just renewed

I’d add you can’t discount a player the club was 100% for 11 months ago

But, absolutely, it may all be accurate but the wave of truth in reporting has been wrong just about everytime in past year…so we’ll see
