No, he’s definitely not selfish. I can confirm that. If anything he prefers others to shoot than himself. He’s bit reserved that way. But age can play factor into this and could grow more confident over time. He’s not best finisher and he knows. But has to try cut in and take shot himself at times as well by orders of coach otherwise will become too predictable.

But so far everything says he type of player that would always pass it to someone in better position.

Yeah it was in spirit of fairness.

I defended him cause he was attacked on being selfish. Watched Bilbao last season starting from somewhere around midpoint.
And selfish he never looked. But I also mentioned how it could tie into him knowing his shortcomings. Not very agile player and doesn’t navigate well when given less space, so looking to pass it to someone else quicker than others would.

I will say I thought he looked really good against Netherlands first game and first half against France.

Not against the transfer. I trust Flick.

I'm not sold on him but this team is more attacking and if anyone can make a player improve,it's Flick.

He doesn’t connect perfectly with Lamine at all.

Lamine simply isn’t blind and is a great passer and not selfish.

This is true, the chemistry angle in overrated. Some make it sound like they have a connection like Messi and Alves but in reality they rarely combine together except Yamal's long passes. The chemistry is more off the field as they seem great friends.

I would say Raphinha is a more suitable profile for Yamal's partner on the other wing than Nico (but that doesn't mean I don't want Nico).
