Probably also smarter way to do things if we can "afford to go back" in our current state IYKWIM.
Marquez took it slowly with Noah Darvich for example. Understandable as besides adapting to a new system on the pitch he also had to adapt to life in a foreign country without his familly and friends which is not easy for most 16 yo kids.
Don't need to do the same with homegrown talents like Yamal or Cubarsi who already know the club inside out but still should take a lot of responsibility of their shoulders. We shouldn't ran them to ground and be damaged goods at 20 like Ansu, Pedri, possibly Gavi and Balde. What we were doing over the last few years is not a normal or healthy way of team building. But hopefully soon we will be in a position when we could afford to protect our youngsters better and give them time to develop more naturally rather than force them to the first team and start big games so early in their careers.
And then in 2-3 years they are all sh**, not improving and similar nonsense coming from clueless usual suspects after already playing 50+ games when in a "normal" big club they would probably only be on the verge of making a first team breakthrough. And OTOH most fans also think players aged 18-19 who are not already established in the first team will never make it here.
