That said, screw this board. Board members, present and future, should learn the hard way not to fuck about with fcb.

Good intentions aren't enough and of course that particular excuse can only be used so many times.
Voting down Bartomeu would send a clear message in that direction and it is up to the socios to define their own legacy.

Not criminals or idiots but acting on the advice of those in financial sector who said deal is legit. Bending tax rules but legit. Which hundreds of clubs around the world have done and been allowed to rectify.

Say for example Laporta gets taken to court for spying on players and officials in previous term..do you think that should stop him being president?

Who are they employing that's advising them to commit criminal activity? Are they employing hack accountants and financial advisers that cannot tell the difference between legal tax avoidance and illegal tax evasion? If they're such incompetent fools that cannot hire the right people and make the right decisions, then they are not fit to run the club.

And Bartomeu has been Sandro's right hand all these years. He has been the 1st vice-president of the club and has been involved in most if not every dealings of the club. Just because he's trying to better his reputation in an election year doesn't mean he's actually done a great job. More like damage control so he can stand a chance in summer.

For Madrid to attack anything they need to have something to attack and the current board handed them everything on a platter by being complete idiots and I won't even comment on the sporting aspect of the club which has gone apeshit, in all departments and not only football related stuff.

Then they hire people from PwC, Deloitte, EY, KPMG etc. There's a grey area which many clubs come under, but in this case it seem like the club has stepped out of the grey area into red, and if they have employed such external advisors then that's their responsibility, because you've failed to hire the right, competent people and that's a massive responsibility for the club to function properly. If they can't get that right then it looks really bad on them.

That's on Jorge Messi. He should have known better. As far as I'm concerned, the prosecution + authorities in Spain dropped the case against Lionel Messi, but got overruled by the judge.

And I also know that the club, Bartomeu and Rosell are charged for tax fraud. And like I said earlier, I'm not even counting the sporting decisions taken which has hampered the progress of FC Barcelona. Not the football part of the club. FC Barcelona.

They've been indicted for fraud, so obviously the prosecutor has enough to put them on trial.

We're also talking about an election. A candidate trying to sell himself as the best choice to run your club, but who has an open criminal fraud case, for wrongdoings committed while working previously for the club, and who might actually be found quilty and be sent to jail while being president of the club if he should win.

Sorry but Bartmeu should be disqualified from running for these election while under these circumstances. If he should win, people voting in these elections are idiots.

Of course it is their final responsibility. If they get found guilty then thats it end of story.

But there is a big difference from taking advice from reputable financial institutions and DELIBERATELY comitting tax fraud and acting in a corrupt way as so many people oj here try to make out.

Also the other difference being other clubs have taken the wrong advice and not been treated the way Barca have been.

Barto is free to run if legally able and it shouldn't be otherwise. As i said previously it's up to the socio to know better now.
