Yeah, would have been better to be after someone who has few good seasons behind him but it's better than nothing.

Ideally for everyone it's ter Stegen that leaves. Tek is happy to be backup and everyone praises his good influence in dressing room.

But let's see if Barca even finds money because as things stand now, we can't sign anyone.

He has offers from abroad, doubt he will chose us over other options just because of rivaly and fans.

Arsenal wanted him last season, bu question is how really good is.

Also he will need to make runs out of the goal, don't know how good is he.

I would like new GK but it is not prioroty, even though I don't rate Ter Stegen.

We certainly won't be offering him the biggest salary, nor the guarantee to be a starter, just a competition with MAtS. The only two reasons that speak for us are first of all an exciting young team determined to create an era and the same City, so he doesn't need to change his private life, leave friends and family behind.

We'll see what he's after.

It's sickening that when Barca win the CL it's because they were by far the best team and dominated everyone. Yet most of the time that Real Madrid win it they get outplayed in a lot of games and scab their way through.

It doesn't seem fair or right.
Because one team actually tries to play dominant football with all its pros and cons, while the other is purely score driven and maximizes the chances to go through, no matter how ugly it looks on the pitch. I could never be a fan of the latter, even if it gives you as many titles as Madrid has. You celebrate titles 1-2 weeks, you watch football the entire year. I know what's more important for me to enjoy.

I agree. Man United are the same - the English Real.

I have always said football is about the beauty of the game. What's the point in winning really if you aren't the conclusively best team?
