Well, I am sure a lot of women think he's very plain or even ugly (I have heard many say he's gross). But on the other hand he has multiple threads on tattle.life (though I expect it's more his fame and money since Haaland who is extremely ugly has threads too, awful site).

I have heard some other women call him 'handsome' too.

I asked an American woman I talk to about him last night and she said he is ugly, not her type and money and fame makes mediocrity like him handsome to women. She said the same about Harry Styles (and I agree with her on him, too). Interestingly this woman didn't know Grealish so was coldly judging him on his looks - women exposed to his fame and hype have a bias towards him causing them to overrate his looks. She didn't have that and rated him accurately.

Personally I think it's money and fame seeking. There's clearly loads of better looking male celebrities than him and better looking guys on the street. He has a great head of hair and a good body, as you expect from an athlete, but facially he's average looking at the very best, kinda weasely and chavvy looking. He looks like the gormless village idiot. And you're right - can't stand Beckham as a person but young Beckham was 10 times more handsome than Grealish speaking as a straight male (though he needs fewer tattoos). I just can't understand how any woman could think differently. I mean beauty is in the eye of the beholder but Beckham is much more handsome than Grealish, classically and conventionally.

But overall, yes, Grealish wasn't known for his looks until Euro 2020 when his fame increased. Men always become more physically attractive to women when they explode in fame - the same is happening with Pedro Pascal at the moment as he's in everything. A few years ago women barely talked about him and now he's the 'hot guy' despite not being anything special to look at.

I know this is the Grealish thread, but I guess my tangential point is that status and fame (more so than money) really can fool women into thinking some men are much more handsome than they probably are. I find it hard to believe women would worship Grealish if he was a random Joe in Birmingham, but it is what it is. He's not genuinely handsome like Brad Pitt or Beckham or Henry Cavill, but he coasts by with money and fame like some other famous men do.

And I guess we can get back to the football, where he's much better than he is in the looks department.
