Called it - way before anyone else did.

Clueless folks here really called him a Covid merchant.
Why are you using past tense ? There are still numerous folks who don't rate this guy

They are silent now and give minimal praise but when we don't play well they are louder than anyone

Pep, Enrique, Flick... this is the manager elite in world football right now

But many don't realize. And as soon as we lose a game his system is being called out

This is such a simplistic way of thinking. It's results based analysis and you are being reductive of the argument people who highlight the issues within said system highlight. I truly don't mean to demean you but seriously, why is there no "we can do better because we have been better" function in your argument. Flick is a good manager with an ambitious idea, but we are more than likely experiencing diminishing returns. As time progresses holes get bigger and the once well oiled machine is spouting smoke and hitting a rut while all the while tumbling along. It is common sense at this point to understand why red flags are being thrown now more than ever. Issues become more glaring as performances drop. I still rate Flick and I want Barca to succeed but I want us to win AND perform well because we have before, we just keep losing the conditions said system requires to perform.

I haven't been invested in Barca due to school but trusted people tell me things have picked up from Flick, and I'm grateful, time will tell though if we get back to the level of last season which ultimately took us to heights we hadn't seen in years.

I would appreciate if you gave priority to clarity instead of feelings and personal doubts in your posts

What is it you want to say? We have played well under Flick last season, and what we are seeing now is as good and probably even better and improved version of that team

Don Juan Laporta Estruch

Basta yaaaaaaa, Cabron ! y Bona nit 🥂
I never was really confident that we would win the Champions League after Ney left. We just never had the manager to get the best out of our players and we always had a goalkeeper that would end up costing us.

Now we have a world class goalkeeper and a world class manager. But no money.

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that we are 200m of investment in the team ( not a lot of money in today's football world at all ) from winning the UCL, maybe more than once, under this manager.

We didn't make the most out of the GOAT, who should have had at least 2 more UCL's to his name. And now we are at the same crossroads again with this great manager.

If we don't win more than one UCL under Don Hansi, then we would have let him down, like we did Leo, and not the other way around. :messi:

I'll simplify it so you can understand. Ready? We aren't as good as last season, I can tell when I watch the games. Good that should be simple enough for now, get ready I'm about to throw another one your way..... To reach the heights of last season, there are certain things we need to be doing that we aren't doing. Winning a game does not mean we all of a sudden started doing those things, much more nuance in football. Now nuance might be a bit of a different word than the ones you usually read so look it up and make sure you understand, alright? For a different or more developed idea of what I meant you can look at my post history. I can't make you see what I see, you don't understand and that's fine, but at the very least try to be disprove my issues through a deeper lens rather than results based analysis (analysis where you decide everything is fine if we win). That is the simplest I could make it, if you still can't understand well, as I said before, it is practically a waste engaging with you.

Ok, I understand you

And I believe you are a complete idiot

And if there is anyone who is result biased, it is you. Because the bad spell at start of this season was mostly because we missed a great deal of players and lost a couple games because of it

And shit pressing was because we missed the frontmen of our pressing and team morale was in absolute trenches

Not because Flick drastically changed the approach. Or that we for some reason stopped doing anything we were doing last season

It is very clear what you are. A flick doubter who is not ready to accept he has been wrong and hence tries to spin with some unclear and vague "conclusions" about the team. Hence the silent "I rate flick but...". No brother you don't. And say it out loud, we won't eat you

Last season we did not face any challenges. It's why we were "better". If a better team came in place of Bayern at Montjuic we would be smashed. This season we faced PSG, Chelsea and a much stronger Madrid and of course it was different results. But now we have improved too
