😆, that's not happening. It's clear that there will not be a revolution at Barca, only evolution. We simply don't have the funds. I'd aim for one quality transfer each window and hope for the best.

La Masia already changed to give more focus to physicality a decade ago.

Barca won the ball in midfield a lot on Sunday.

There are bigger issues than that for the team currently and not many teams have top physical DMs either.

Defensive Midfielders who are physically dominant and technically great don't grow on trees. There's arguably only one such guy in the world and he's seemingly injured every other week now.

And yeah you cannot play for Barca or even RM, PSG, City, etc. unless you're also technically excellent. That's why Palinha flopped at Bayern and why PSG sent Ugarte's ass to Manchester United.

Two DMs that bring a lot of physicality, but are a complete liability in possession and under pressure.

Goretzka is awful man. Just ask any Bayern fan about him.

Yaya Toure is a unicorn, obviously would love such a player. Caicedo is alright.

Pedri vs peak Yaya Toure is like comparing a VW Beetle with a Hummer H2. There's so much in between that would be an upgrade on the poor Beetle in the horsepower area...

Allowing midfield to do there job in middle of park and not constantly have to help defenders that are poor on ball or doubling up with defenders who are weak 1v1 would help also.

Pedri is not only small, he is slow also. Double problem on the position he plays in. I don't know how exactly he will jump from very good to elite with his pace and stamina issues. Major hurdle to pass.
