Why not try Araujo Kounde Martin Balde in a match against some weaker teams. Kounde is screwing it up at RB, try him at cb instead. Alot of people forget that we bought Kounde as a cb.

Araujo is shit at RB and would do nothing but hamper Yamal more.

Eric ls levels ahead of him there and despite what people want to see has been better CB than Araujo this season also.

In the four ‘second seasons’ Flick has on his resume, he was relegated in one and stepped down as head coach in two. Hoffenheim has been the only situation thus far which didn’t see noticeable regression in the quality of his side over a year.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if we'll be 10 points behind Madrid by Christmas. Only thing that will save him is that the club is broken and can't afford to bin him, lol.

He can afford to not win this season as long as team shows some kind of progression with the issues they are facing.

There is no money for signings need to hope Garcia, Gavi, Raphinha, Olmo, Lewa when all back and have more to start and from bench can make a difference.

Hope Roony continues to improve. Ferran improves as gets fit. Same with Yamal. Bernal also... although he has quickly become over rated for what actually did show last season once out.

Pedri and FDJ need to get more rest.

From Atletic side the likes of Cortes and Tommy Marques look about the most physically ready but Flick does see them closer and must think the step up is too big.

There is scope for improving things as season progresses.

We have a ton of problems and this game happened to come at the perfect storm for us yet people are still blaming Flick. I’m not saying he does everything perfectly, but:

1. His front three were Ferran, who was coming back from an injury, Rashford, who has been very good but he’s not Rafinha and Yamal who is also out of form and returning from injury.
2. The main issue, as many have pointed out, is the lack of pressing, but how can you press effectively when there’s no rotation due to half of the team being injured?
3. On top of that, he’s been forced to work with whatever players he has since there was no budget for another signing in the summer.
4. The team is still playing away from its home stadium, which also affects performance.

I say we are lucky to be where we are, people here have unrealistic expectations but that's again due to Flick's unexpected successful last season.

Stop taking things so literally. Obviously Deco said this because the club isn't allowed to sign players and he wants to hold the player's confidence up by saying they're good enough to compete for everything.

"When life gives you lemons, make lemonade." fits here perfectly.
Then don't be upset if the team win nothing this season with such thin squad.

The injury issue is real and should be taken into consideration.

I'm not even too fussed about the loss. Madrid wants revenge so badly, to beat us badly, but Barca rarely makes that happen these days, so even in defeat, I'm kind of happy, lol.

But the team has obvious issues that are being created by the coach, that he doesn't seem to know how to solve because he only knows one way of playing.

Starting Garcia at CB against Madrid, who doesn't press the CB, is also 100% on him. I'm serious when I say I don't think any other coach in the world would start Garcia specifically at CB in one of the biggest games in the world.

But we move on; just fix the issues that are in the team, that have been in our team since last season and the start of this season, when we had every single player fit, so it's not all injuries much of which if it was any other coach fans would be blaming that coach for the all these injuries, but for him it's only use as a valid excuse

Congratulations for the worst post this year!!

Did you see the bench? Roony was the best player he could bring in 2nd half, Villareal has a better bench than us. From the starting 11 Ferran and Lamine were completely unfit. So this was 9 vs 11. Thanks to Hansi's brilliant tactics Real scored only 2 goals. Failing to give him a replacement for Inigo was one of the most criminal things in football history. The squad has 98% fault for the loss, 1,5% the assistent, 0,5% Hansi.

I wasn't going to indulge in your stupidity but here I am, sigh. Worst post of the year are your daily subtle troll attempts, whose main contribution is liking your groupies posts like a woman asking for attention and approval. If you think 0.5% is flick's fault, let's just leave it at that since you don't seem to understand football too well and I'm not going to explain.

This forum took a shit on Xavi for excuses and saying es lo que hay, but here are the hypocrites doing the same thing.
FYI I'm not saying sack Flick, re-read the post. It's also his fault that we've been playing shit all season, it's not just this game.

Once again congratulations Jaypee, you actually managed to surpass yourself with this post and created a new 'Worst post of the year' ! Not only are you being personally insulting but you also failed to give an explanation why Hansi has the fault for the defeat yesterday, i will show it again:

- No Olmo

- No Lewy

- No Raphi

- Lamine unfit

- Ferran unfit

This was the bench lol, yes it's Hansi's fault
