Don’t forget biggest reason being none of those coaches would want to helm a project where they can’t spend crazy.

Don't think that's true. For Pep there are other reasons, and Lucho would come back if given the choice.

What is true is that money is a huge advantage and the oil-state clubs always have an edge.

For this, Flick's most underrated trait is how positive he is. So far, been pretty stoic in front of all the hurdles. People should respect that even if we have a bad season.

Why would he resign or get sacked? Even if we win nothing this year he's build up enough credit to get one more season.

But it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see their is a clear flaw in his system, he had the perfect characteristics of defenders at Bayern and still conceded the same amount of goals as he's doing now with our "poor" defenders.

32 & 44 in 4 less league games, I honestly think if it wasn't a covid year, with return legs he probably would have lost in the CL at some point with that bayern team, too high risk at times when he doesn't need to be.

Also he doesn't need 8+ WC players to win the CL, lucho did it with 5 max.

Donna.
Hakimi
Mendes
Vitinha
Dembele.

So if it's only 4 that we have, we're fine.

He'll be here for another 1-2 years and we are all the better for it, doesn't mean he doesn't have flaws of he's some kind of miracle working turn scrubs into league champions, another manager did it 12 months before him and another one will do it after he eventually leaves.

Because we have the big man in charge and that's the most important thing to Barcelona's success, leadership at the top.

Pep ain't even coming back, but lucho would take this job if offer under the exact same circumstances as flick.

As would many others, they see we have a top 5 squad in Europe easily, biggest issue is lewa who will undoubtedly be replaced.

Indees, no amount of coaching is gonna help players like Martin be like Mendes. Martin, he tries a lot, but let's face it, managers would love far more to face him than coach him.

We are just too bad overall, we have a couple of really good players but the rest is very average. Some overperformed last year under Flick but he can only do so much. If the quality isn't there it will show eventually.

I think it is time we return to a 4-3-3.

Offer de jong and pedri a little more midfield protection so that they focus more on being creative and dominant on the ball.

Playing a 10 is useless especially with inconsistent performances from olmo and fermin

Hansi Flick: “Our idea is to press our opponents, it’s crucial and part of the Barça mentality. We can do it better in certain situations. When it’s structured, we do it well, but if there’s no pressing, the line is too high. We have to improve and train for this every day, it’s a process and that’s normal. It’s not just about the players, the staff too, we’re one team. The club, the fans, we must all be united. Last year that was the key to success. Everyone must know what to do to win and not focus only on themselves. That’s the key to winning titles.” #fcblive

So translation is, he either wants to increase our pressing minutes, or play more defensevly without it. Probably both, since you can't press 90 minutes anyways, especially against world-class teams. Sounds like a simple plan, let's see on the pitch how it'll look like.

Trying to press a team that's just as good or better than you are technically, while being significantly better physically won't end well 7/10.

It's like when other teams try to press us, we have the players to pass out of it, but with PSG they also have those kind of players, a manager that emphasizes that they should be comfortable while being pressed and fitter players.

So he'll need a plan A++ or hope plan A is played to perfection

Plan A++ is hoping the referees do their fuckin job.

Plan A+ is hoping the opposition miss when they dont.
