People are overlooking and acting as if current LL isn't a dead two horse league. You have to be terrible to be worse than current Atletico and so there is a single battle - vs Madrid.

And even so, third means CL spot assured, the rest of the teams are downright atrocious. We laughing about PSG but reality is that we aren't far off in terms of competition.

Funny. There's 3 different La Liga winners since 2020. And only 2 in EPL.

Comment is a trainwreck on all levels. Biggest club in the world with 6 CLs in the last 12 years couldn't win a back to back La Liga in almost 20 years.

City would have won back to back LLs easily, considering there's no competition in the league.

Real being masters of CL KOs doesn't change my statement in any way, league is a dead two horse race. Atletico only win when the other two are truly shite and don't care. CL is a given for Barca every season and basically finishing 2nd or 3rd makes no difference, aside from you acting the idiot savant like "data" helps you in any way.

The worst Barca in years, without Messi and with likes of Depay and Look De Jong still finished 2nd in LL but were mauled in Europa League.

You have to be a brain dead moron to finish 4th in this league with Barca and even then you still aren't missing anything big compared to finishing 2nd. You still get CL money and exposure. Of course, you won't win anything, like Barca or Atletico, but Real will bail you out so you can act all cute and say shite like the above.

So, your argument is that Barcelona and Madrid have to be a brain dead moron to finish 4th in La Liga. They'd have to be a brain dead moron to finish 4th in EPL also.

If you put Barcelona and Madrid in EPL, you'd have these 2 and City fight it out for the title almost every season. With Liverpool and Arsenal, as some sort of AM version, winning one every 5-6 seasons, if that, usually if all 3 have a lackluster season.

I see La Liga as having a slightly stronger top 2 than EPL, but EPL has stronger competition from 4th-10th.

Those EPL clubs, namely Liverpool and City, have to get their shite together, and stop losing constantly to Madrid in Champions League, then you can make a case about the top teams in EPL being better than the top teams from La Liga.

What a boss in the press conferences, loved every word - must watch to understand his philosophy. I especially loved how he explained the 2nd goal and what he insisted on the team before arriving - play to the whistle, don't complain & waste time

Fire 🔥, we have something special here

My argument is that the rest of the opposition in Spain is very weak. And you don't run the risk of not getting a CL place even when you have an off season. Barca with likes of Depay would have probably struggled to get 4th in the EPL.

Having two super teams, a medium strong one in Atletico and the rest being cannon fodder basically.

Real and Barca don't run the risk of dropping out of CL places like big clubs in the EPL have done.

You're welcome
My argument is that the rest of the opposition in Spain is very weak.

The classic sub-top teams are suffering, but other teams have stepped up.

I never know exactly where I stand with “La Liga has fallen off/or about to fall of”.

Wouldn’t be surprised if La Liga teams will be best performing across CL/EL/cL this season.

But France is investing in their league. Need to be careful there.
