Seen the press conference.
What I took from it:

1. Stegen is NOT starting either Inter or Clasico.
2. Flick did not expect to have to play key players.
3. Was something important but forgot about it. Blame my pal Gin.

That defence action in 92 minute when Araujo made last ditch tackle - that type of things I don't understand, you lead, you fight for everything what is the point of that stubbornness? Play conservative line and close the gap, counter is already easy if you get the ball since all are on our half. Imagine same situation but against Inter for example with better striker?

Was not a joke. The more you play these players the more difficult it will be to cut them from the squad. 2-3 games like this one for Ansu Fati, and he'll be collecting his money here until the end of his contract.

Because even Saudi teams will realize he's worth nothing.

Think of it logically. You could maybe sell Ansu if you frame it as he's unhappy with his role. The more he plays, the more difficult selling him will become.
He can't do anything about the bums in the team. Only hope of winning titles was to overplay this squad. It's clear now. If we don't massively improve the squad, the rotation solutions need to be early subs when leading.

We need to almost always start with the strongest team or close to that even vs bottom league sides, and make early subs no matter if players want to stay on to up their stats. This solutions is the only one that can work.

Me neither.

In the thick of a treble pursuit yet Hansi made a point to underscore Dani’s importance & the support he has from him & the club. I liked that a lot, he has been very considerate when it comes to La Masia players and is consistently unequivocal in press conferences on Masia’s importance

I find one of the biggest traits he has that comes out in every interview, very glass is half full & positive guy. That energy I am certain is pervasive in this moment at Barça, for players, staff, club & fans

Real belief in Hansi that permeates irrespective of outcome and frankly, that’s the best thing you could hope for…especially for a young squad

Real footballers on our bench are only Fermin, Ferran, Casado, Gavi, Eric, Araujo and Christensen, all others would struggle to play for this Valladolid side. Together with the gala 11 that's 18 players for the whole season. It's a miracle we got this far.

I agree, the club should make an ultimatum to leaches like Ansu in the summer. Either leave or you won't get a minute of playing time until the end of the contract. He has the right to stay until the end of his contract and the club has the right to send them to the stands. Two can play this game...

It should be dons years ago with the likes of Umtiti or Lenglet but we don't have the balls.

I don't know about the Inter game...but watching Real Madrid today, this is the type of team that Flickball should be putting 5+ goals against.

Lamine and Raphinha should be terrorizing them next weekend.

Madrid has the advantage of being fresh and rested, in absolute contrast to us, but then injuries have fucked them over and the backline should be a feast for our attackers

We'll see how it goes. To be honest I don't see a smashing but more likely a match reminiscent of Copa final.
