Ayooo @fatporta can you get this man a decent LCB and a starter RB?

If you do I will guarantee CL Semifinal run each year until Flick leaves.

Yamal hasn't delivered shambolic performances. He played an extraordinary season last year, with many golazos in the last part of it.

This season that great impact has dried up, he caught some injuries and now he is not as great, but still good.

There is no Yamal problem if we contain his annoying personality from spoiling things.

He plays well, but not great enough to tolerate subpar effort or indulge him in his predisposition to clown around. As long as he puts in the effort, all is well with him on my part.

Vs Espanyol he was one of our best 3-4 players.

Agreed there. Hard to avoid though when you get served Cubarsi's new haircut as Barca news and similar shite.

Yeah, a lot will be on Flick to handle it. Flick has a good combination of man management traits, and if the club trusts him to deal with the players the way he sees fit, we are gonna do well and the players won't missbehave too badly.

Flick is a key component, the entire club and the whole structure around it is predisposed to self indulgency. Flick not so much. He keeps it real for us.

This core hasn't really achieved anything that is truly era defining. This should be all the fuel we need. But many of the players are young and immature, so... it's not easy to keep them grounded.

He's getting results consistently..........

If you mean getting thrashed by CHELSHIT is getting resulrs consistrently .. You need help
(I dont even rememeber any BARCA manager who got thrashed by CHELSHIT)

Only thing that is consistent at the moment is shambolic performance and getting bailed out by Luck/ GK

So we are halfway into this LaLiga season and I have to say he really managed to turn this season around. Although the defence really needs to be figured before we get into the latter stages of the UCL, we haven't been doing well in recruiting defenders for the past 6-8 years now. I love Kounde but man was he absolute garbage after 24-25, no consistency, no motivation and so many brain farts, when will he ever get back to his level???? I don't want to speak about Balde cause I don't want to rant.

Truth
First time I sensed during today's pressy a bit of frustration of being unable to make targeted veteran signings in his time at Barça thus far - yet he was clear that while CB was priority, he sees the advantage of adding Cancelo since there was not an ideal option available
  • Cancelo deal near completion but not final
  • No player, unlike last January, has asked to leave in winter window
  • When asked about midfield selection, he didn't commit but did make the link to connections with Lamine
  • Araujo - important player, we're all here to help him to come back

Joan Garcia was the player to meet the press for the SuperCopa - super calm & at ease (love that even questions in Spanish, he routinely returned to Catalan)
  • Very motivated for first title, like rest of team
  • Derby question which he downplayed, now focused on Supercopa
  • WC call up brought up, he puts his head down & work - if it happens, he'd be proud
  • When asked about the GK situation - good competition in the group, he's young and still has much to learn/improve
