LA here as well, although I have spent some time in the bay. And yes they both have their high points, but the weather is a big plus for southern california.

Ahh...one of the reasons I left LA for SF was to escape that nasty hot weather- nice and cool up here, much more comfortable! (and much better for playing footie!)
