He may yet prove to be a good "number 10" after all

He won't... he did well yesterday in patches.. of course one of the MOM of the game scoring 2 assisting 1 however despite the assist & the 2nd goal his 2nd half game was pretty invisible

If it's a learning curve (which is what we hope for ) it's a plus.. if it's one off than we're back to square one however to his credit it seems the goal gave him some motivation as he did come back to defend and showed effort compared to last year

he is an SS..never an AM.. he lacks all the AM attributes

And rest assured Benitez has told him to play as a second striker, James will do all the playmaking from out wide, since he drifts in so frequently

Gotta admit, he really shows up for his NT. Wish he could have the same consistent form for us, he is a good player if used right.

Comparing international football to club football.....

I know but look at giggs and how great he was for United and how bad he was for wales. Look at Hazard and how good he is for chelsea but how mediocre he is for belgium. Modric, Rakitic for croatia...

No matter the opposition i just think if you are coming up with performances like that everytime you play for your NT and then struggling for your club side then its just a bad match.
