After a successful season. UCL Semifinal, LaLiga & Copa.

Knowing we have some glaring issues with the team, and our main CB also leaving. Where did we rank in spending?

1 - ATM - 176m (Trophy less for the past 2-3 seasons)

2 - Real Madrid - 167.5m (Trophy less season)

3 - Villareal - 102m

4 - Real Betis - 62m

5 - Barcelona - 27.5m :)lol:)

6 - Girona - 27.2m

7 - Sociedad - 21.5m

You are telling me this is absolutely acceptable? Other LaLiga teams also have financial problems, so why we this bad?

-ChatGPT transfer income/expenditure of past 5 years, then past 10 years.

-And in wage bill + covid.

-Put Tebas in brackets and his Blackmail that Messi renewal wage only be accepted under condition of CVC.

-Take the answer and deduct tv rights lever.

-Amend that figure as 100% of tv rights sale not counted as income nor towards FFP.

-Build stadium

-Deduct other levers income.

-Erase other levers as they were fake levers.

-Add loans and loan interest, compounded on other loans and interests.

-Deduct VIP seat sales.

-Remove VIP seat sales as LaLiga won't count them as income due to previous fake levers.

This is the worst financial period in Barca history. Barca winning 2 La Ligas and bringing back the joy in last 12 months with best football is good ailment but not a cure.
Club needs to capitalize on this newfound sporting success and maximize it into revenue.

Was always gonna be a slog when you got a 100000+ stadium to get back into with a surrounding commercial area that generates an added 50m per season.

If we were a business it would be easy days. Raise share capital, sell the women's team to another company of ourselves.
Do the same with basketball.

Etc.

Maximize it into revenues?

Did you Google our revenues before writing that sentence? Jesus Christ Bojan at least think before writing.

2023/2024.

Our revenues fell to 760m due to not playing at the camp nou, before it was 800m.

3rd highest in the world.

Only Madrid were significantly ahead of us with 1B due to revenues from their new stadium, you know that thing we are also doing that you said laporta is leaving the burden for future presidents to pay off? 😂 🤣.

Yea that improved Madrid's match day revenue by 100% and it will only continue to grow.

I used Deloitte to find something thats objectively, but that doesn't account for the 24/25 season.

Now let's look at the 24/25 season

Our revenues are 890m euros, mind you we are still not even at the old camp nou, never mind the finished one.

when it's completed that adds another 200m+ annual, even the partially completed one, should add around 20-30m min.

If you said we need to focus on reducing our debts, that would have made perfect sense, but revenues? 😂 😂.

We have never had issues generating money even under your boys Rosell and Barto.

The amount of new revenues laporta has brought in even before flick ball is clearly with a bit of research.

Nike
Spotify

Being the main ones and multiple other small deals that add up, if you look at the money league, you'll notice we bring in the most money of any top club through commercial activities. 😂

Just to wrap this up further, we just renewed our deal with nike, so going forward the only real major revenue growth we will have comes from.

1. New stadium
2. New shirt sponsorship the deal with Spotify expires soon

Just these two things which are already programmed, will increase our revenues to over 1B easily, we would probably already be their if we stayed in the old stadium are very close to it.

3. New TV deal, but that's about 2-4 years away depending on local vs International

Capitalize on it's new found success to increase revenues he said 😂 😂

Worse financial position he said 😂 😂.

Only thing the club actually needs to do now is finish that stadium & focus on reducing debt and operating at a small net profit each season.

@Barcaman needs to just lay off the weeeed

Medium to long term there also the possibility to buy back the revenue streams we sold through the famous levers, no? Would think our current revenue is a bit handicapped due to the levers, and not only because of the stadium.

Yea their is, laporta indicted that would be the case a year or two ago

The TV revenue deal, can be paid off at any time, much like any loan really.

The VIP seats, I doubt we will ever try to buy that back, because that's pretty standard practice in stadiums, Madrid for example did it and lots of teams in America does that.

Same for the catering deal, that's best left farmered out, we will never buy that back either.

We will probably sell off the buybacks of the levers and create new levers out of them :lol

I am still a flabbergasted someone wrote

"Club needs to capitalize on this newfound sporting success and maximize it into revenue"

You know how easy it would have been to not write that sentence with a bit of Google to not look like a fool smh.

Getting registration issues confused with our general financial health, is typical for those who don't understand what's going on

Being a hater is a hell of a drug.

Income 900m, will raise to 1B soon.
Debt 3B

Standard income/EBITDA to debt ratio is 2x-4x for moderate risk, we are right in the middle at 3x.

Wages to income ratio, has fallen from a high of 73% to 54% as of 23/24.

Which is very healthy and I suspect is around the same in 24/25 and will continue to be around that 50% mark for the long term

So a quick summary of facts.

1. Revenues 890m - away from the old camp nou, not even mentioning the new one.

2. Debt to income ratio 3:1
3. Wages to income 54%.

The worse financial position we have been in, he said sarcastically.

Couple that with the on field success and what are we left with?

New sleeve sponder.

We continue to extent our existing lead in the commercial revenues space.

We should keep Spotify next year too, that's a pretty good main shirt sponsor.
