Flick needs to start Fermin in the second leg and bring Olmo with fresh legs second half. Fermin's strength to fight is best executed from the start, while he lacks technique to exploit tired legs. Olmo is exactly the opposite. He's technically gifted, but physically due to his injuries not in topform. He's much more valuable as a later sub.
I don't understand why Flick doesn't see it.

I was talking about our defending during the game, set pieces are a different thing. Inter players are physically superior, tallest player for us today was Martin and Inter has like 4-5 players taller than him. Still of course we need to find a way to somehow at least decrease their chances on set pieces, with some tactic or whatever but it will be hard.
If Kounde is out, I would play Christensen & Inigo at CB at Araujo RB. That should be stronger at set pieces

We'll beat them next Tuesday, simply due to the fact that they wont score every single shot they have on target like they did tonight.

Balde - Cubarsi -Inigo - Eric

This has to be our defensive line-up. Can't have Segunda level C players like Martin in there or clumsy fools like Araujo to mess it all up.

Inter are very good in transition and we need our defence disciplined unlike yesterday.

I don't mind the result last night at all. Might sound like mental gymnastics but the psychology of the team is "we have to win the next match to reach the final". Not, "we can still concede 3 goals and scrape through". Dortmund could have dumped us out last round. No room for complacency or to allow Inter to build momentum in the game.

Inter were lucky as fuck let's be real, we will stomp them @ Giuseppe Meazza i'm not worried at all...I doubt they will play better than tonight and our team will rest vs Valladolid , we played saturday a tough game than we won in extra time , we were tired as fuck in the second half, It will be different next week.

Yeah, they also played much better and won at Allianz Arena vs Bayern than at home when they only managed to draw Bayern.

If Barca plays the return leg like win or die at Giuseppe Meazza they should be able to win and qualify for the final particularly if they learn their lessons from the 1st leg.

Field on San Siro is shit for our football.

They absolutely dominated us physically though, every single cross, corner, header was won by them and you felt they would score with every cross. Haven't seen us get bullied like that physically in a while.

I don't see how we solve the physical dominance in a week. Very likely to happen again next week.

They 4 players with 190+ heigh

+ Dumfris 188

These will be major problems for the return match.
