Inter also got lucky that every shot on target went in. Its ridiculous. Balde being back neutralizes dumfries somewhat at least. Koude being out is a blow but garcia or araujo can play there. We cant keep getting bullied on set pieces like this constantly. Its such a waste.
Inter will park the bus again abd it will be tough to score. Lucky for us the away goal rule is gone so it doesnt matter if its 3-3 or 0-0. We can definitly still win in Milano.
Ideally, put up a b formation and beat valladolid, then get by Inter, preferably vs Inter, then not lose vs Madrid and we are in a great position to make it a great season.
It can be an amazing week or the whole season can go south in days.

We went to this season without hope. I say foe Tuesday. Nothing to lose , everything to gain should be the spirit !

Conceded 3 vs Dortmund, conceded 3 vs Celta, conceded 2 vs Madrid, conceded 3 vs Inter.
Either defense is way overrated or we have a system problem. This kind of going out guns blazing football and lapses in defense is killing us physically. We are chasing games, every other game.
So we aren't unlucky. Actually we are fortunate to be with a cup in the bag and 2 competitions still winnable, when we concede this much. We are too overreliant on our attack bailing us out.

They wasted time but nothing like United did vs Barca in the Europe League. I would say it wasn't that bad. Overall pretty classy opponent.

Nah Flick plays in way he thinks is best to win and is aware of the risks.
It is not 'lucky'.
Madrid conceded far more in games v them.. in what world does that make Barca lucky? Not count when they are conceding more?

I think we are tired and Balde not being there against Dumfries is massive. MASSIVE.
If Balde plays 2nd leg and is not rusty, it should be different on that flank at least.

Full rest vs Valladolid and pray for the best. We need to gamble to make the final. We need to risk LaLiga for CL glory.

What a thrilling game.
Overall, I think we deserved to win, Inters goals were against the run of play it felt like. They absolutely dominated us physically though, every single cross, corner, header was won by them and you felt they would score with every cross. Haven't seen us get bullied like that physically in a while.
For the second goal, I think if Pedri goes for it with bis head the referee gives a free kick, but not going to blame him there, was instinctual. (Gavi would have gone for it 100% lol).
Lamine with a great game. Thought FdJ didn't give us enough offensively or defensively , he wasn't terrible but don't think he gives us enough on either end of the pitch on these kind of games.
Great spirit from the team to come back each time. We can definitely win there but I reckon it's 51-49 to inter due to this high pressure game being away from home and also, I don't see how we solve the physical dominance in a week. Very likely to happen again next week.
If we do go out, I'm sure it will be fighting. Which is more than we can say for us in the last ten years, with humiliation after humiliation.
