I can imagine doubting us in Jan, but we basically beat every big team from Jan - June that season.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. I meant the latter stages of the CL. Going in to the semis that season against a team we'd lost 7-0 in the recent past was mentally unsettling despite the knowledge of having the MSN juggernaut. I have the same unease except may be this time its more justified (fatigue etc).

During the match vs Bologna, both Bastoni and Henrikh Mkhitaryan picked up yellow cards which resulted in their automatic suspension for the match against Roma. They will have 1 week of rest (assuming they both play in the Coppa Italia vs Milan this Wednesday) before the 1st leg vs Barca

They are my most disliked Italian team by quite some distance. Robbed us the last two times we played them in 2010 and 2022 and still like to act as if we are the ones who are benefitted by the referees. Still tainted by the dark shadow of Mourinho's hatred of Barca.

And then the normally quiet Bastoni had to humiliate a 17 year old Gavi on social media ...... For absolutely no reason whatsoever.

Can't understand how any Barca fan can have any affinity towards them.

If only we were at Camp Nou I'd be confident of giving them the mother of all beatings.

Hoping ragdolls that Bastoni, at least.

Thanks! Consider this a guest appearance. It's been a while since we played this well and have strived for a treble. In these scenarios, I'm usually filled with trepidation and scepticism. I went through the same in season 2014/15. So I just had to share my thoughts here.

Difficult opponent, we haven't play a UCL final in 10 years but will have to play 2 matches 100%.. It was dangerously close against Dortmund, can't repeat that against Inter.. They are strong team but I think we are better and will progress to the final.
