CL Quarter Final: PSG - Barca 2-3

Started yes, but now there's an international break that scrambles all sort of form built up ahead. We only have one game ahead of PSG to pick up form as well.

There is already talk that Kounde has picked up a knock, which would be a shame if serious as he has been physically spectacular of recent.

Well Hector Fort might actually be better, but I don't think Xavi will go with him on Mbappe.

Saw a few highlights of Ligue 1. Against the better sides in the league, PSG's best player from highlights has actually been Barcola. Mbappe filled up his boots against the leagues fodder.

Barcola being out is massive and could be the determining factor of the tie. Can now focus solely on Mbappe. Put a couple of early reducers in on him, rough him up, don't think he will fancy it at all. He's going to be a rival for a while anyway so lay down a marker early.

May ask Tobido for this game cause he plays well every time against Mbappe :xavi:

Hope Xavi won't push Araujo to RB. Mbappe is not Vinicius who like to takes on his opponent. Better not give Mbappe's space to shoot.

CONFIRMED: Barcelona expects and trusts that Frenkie and Pedri will be ready for the first leg against PSG. [

Frenkie is good, Idk about Pedri though. We need dynamic players against PSG that can run the whole game and don't fear physical duels. I hope Xavi won't put him into the starting XI. Strange to say, but it feels like the team got better after Pedri's injury.

Watch Xavi fuck up with the team and start Pedri at LW instead of the dynamic, pacy, hardworking Raphinha. :clown:

Reckon Xavi starts Pedri if he's medically fit. We have seen this before.

No way he trusts Fermin away in Paris imo.

No frigging way Pedri should be a starter. The midfield is better without him. He gets too fatigued and is too soft for the CL. Fermin doesn't have the same technical ability but he can score, get into better positions and his work rate is better.
Pedri can start against the softer liga teams but he has to earn the right to be a starter.
Pedri and Ansu are good examples of how injuries can wreak havoc on a player's career.
