You can only make that statement assuming that Oshimen would have given up a lot of money to play for Barca. That's speculation. What we do know is that Saudi Arabia offered him much more than 15 million net (I think around 30-40 million net) and he turned it down for Galatasaray. At the time we bought Lewandowski, he didn't have a release clause yet and he would have cost at least 100 million. So, the amortization of 20 million plus a 30 million gross salary( even if just 20 gross it would be higher)is higher than the 10 million plus 26 million for Lewandowski.
We would have cost well over 100m then tbh, consider he was younger & the hype was bigger.
Probably around 120m -130
They sold him for 75m now, when no one else in Europe wanted him.
Back then at least another club would have tried for him, but non did primarily because they know Napoli Is kind of like spurs, you will pay top dollar
