Dembele has missed around 26 games for club and NT due to injuries in the past 28 months since the move.

He benefits significantly from a less competitive league, where they can afford to rest players.

Last year he played less than 3500 minutes for his club, including the CWC (3300 without that tournament).

Lewa has played 3900 minutes last year, Lamine 4550 minutes, Raphinha 4660 minutes. Those are massive differences. He literally played 90 minutes in 5 league games last year.

Barca has bad track with injuries, but Dembele was always an injury prone player and remains as one. He is just offered the golden chance to be football's Kawhi Leonard

I'm here with guys who back the signing of Lewa. Literally the best the club could get back then. Imo even need to be grateful that he picked Barça given the situation the club has been in back then. Sure he is earning good money, but there were other clubs too offering him that.

The best striker in the world wouldn't change much yesterday with one man down and mifield/wings offering no service.

9s at Barça always had a rough day against quality opposition, especially when the other team dominated ball and midfield.

The only way to thrive in these games is when your offense has a field day or opposition defense leaves too much room which usually doesn't happen unlike you play against Barça.

24 hours later… I do think the match would have gone differently if Raphinha and Pedri were fully fit and started.

Probably still a loss but a much different match
