I'm here with guys who back the signing of Lewa. Literally the best the club could get back then. Imo even need to be grateful that he picked Barça given the situation the club has been in back then. Sure he is earning good money, but there were other clubs too offering him that.

The best striker in the world wouldn't change much yesterday with one man down and mifield/wings offering no service.

9s at Barça always had a rough day against quality opposition, especially when the other team dominated ball and midfield.

The only way to thrive in these games is when your offense has a field day or opposition defense leaves too much room which usually doesn't happen unlike you play against Barça.

Lewa doesn’t get more than oshimen. Oshimen gets 15 million net (20 million gross in Turkey for footballers). We would have to pay 30 million gross for a 15 million salary.
Lewa gets 26 million gross in his best earning year(i am not 100% sure about lewa salary)

Yet it took likes of Frenkie to get fit for team to over haul Real and Frenkie who was better than Pedri and Raph in CL semi final and league decider v Real.

Those word class players need to show it more and be best in team to carry through.

There is precisely no way it takes the money Lewa gets to sign Oshimen from Napoli.

Teams like Gala are like Saudi.. have to offer more to get players there.

You can only make that statement assuming that Oshimen would have given up a lot of money to play for Barca. That's speculation. What we do know is that Saudi Arabia offered him much more than 15 million net (I think around 30-40 million net) and he turned it down for Galatasaray. At the time we bought Lewandowski, he didn't have a release clause yet and he would have cost at least 100 million. So, the amortization of 20 million plus a 30 million gross salary( even if just 20 gross it would be higher)is higher than the 10 million plus 26 million for Lewandowski.

We are talkinmg about Osihment when was at Napoli before he won the league and yes players take more money to play in leagues like Turkey or Saudi.

At the time players could sign for more than 5 years for FFP.
