Yeah well I prefer to watch football than Turks juggle with nuts and bolts.
It goes without saying that a option is better than no option, however on balance Olympic Stadium is not a 'nice' experience IMHO - not for football anyway

You're simply too far from the pitch with poor sight lines and the rows are too close together with uncomfortable seats - it was never designed to be a football stadium in the first place

I'd prefer we'd play all away matches than return there, it's that not nice IMHO and anyone who has attended both understands how night & day the experience is

It's a nice experience because there's so much around it. The walk up to the stadium and back I found kinda cozy. Nice views outside together with a horde of home fans. Was there both at 21.00 (Osasuna) and 16.15 (Girona) games couple of months ago and especially the afternoon game with the sun was nice with all the good vibes. For me those elements make it a nice experience at least, even if stadium in itself isn't the best. Montjuic is different, but like I said, a nice experience.

Of course Camp Nou is miles better simply because it's our home. Nobody claimed otherwise.

Cules will know the moment they re-enter the renovated Camp Nou whether they succeeded in preserving the feel of the stadium, immediately

I’ve seen some good fan vids of sight lines and it appears to have succeeded but true test is in person, Olympic stadium never had that. It improved certainly from when we began there but it could never replicate Camp Nou

The walk to the stadium remains the same, which I love but that’s Barcelona - the walk to Michigan stadium in Ann Arbor on game day is the closest vibe I can relate it to

But that’s apart from the match experience and agreed, that part of the city is great - my favorite museum in the city is there, Miro

The stadium while beautiful on the exterior, is garbage for football

Yeah well not like I suffered while watching the game either.

It’s Barça right? I mean its the same fans waiting to be entertained, just a different venue

I’m too spoiled by Camp Nou to accept an alternative but I really suffered at Olympic stadium - it felt like visiting a different club altogether. It’s the track & field track that kills it the most - the bad ergonomics would be more tolerable if you were closer to the action
