As if most people are well known to deal with the truth. Barca is a political club and lying is a must in politics. Vast majority of people respond far better to lies than truth. He has to lie and project, find and construct enemies from outside, all of that. It's how it works when you depend on the mob.

You think they only allow socios people with IQ of over 130?

We need to get back as soon as possible and that is why we apply this pressure. Lying about it makes far more sense than hoping the common fans have a very high amount of logic and patience.

We don't need lying and putting pressure, we need to finish the works and meet the demands that the Council rightfully asks for. What positive came from more than a year of lying about CN return except Laporta and the whole club looks like a clown. Idiots even made a video about returning when there was no chance it will actually happen.

I think it's under 60. How else could they elect Barto and allow him to ruin the club for 6 years? Either that or they are madridistas.

Been thinking the same. For all the noble ideas of fan owned club and being local, in the end it does look like socis are keeping the club down.

Having a political process of electing leadership means people are more likely to vote based on short term perception of the club rather than long term vision.

Barto struck gold in the summer of 2014. Literally every move that cat made paid off perfectly during the course of the season. It will probably go down as one of the greatest summer windows in Barca history. In the end it got him the treble and the election win.

Terrible decision that cost the club in the long term.

True but that was only socis, not all cules. Most of us knew in 2015 that Barto will be a disaster but the low IQ socis elected him. Maybe I can understand that because we just won the treble but they didn't do anything to stop him between 2018 and 2021 when the whole world knew he's putting Barca into the ground.

I like the socis model but hate our socis.

Socio model is really bad in current day. Basically socios elect a president and a board to run the club, but in 2025 you operate with a very high risk of ending up in financial trouble due to poor management. And the socio model answer to this is basically saying "oups" and accumulating more and more debt.

2020s is not like 2000s. In 2000s you paid 60-70m for almost certified BD player, Figo, Zidane, Cristiano. In 2020 you can pay 120m and end up with a total flop. In the socio model nobody covers for the fuck-ups.

You have poor management in private ownership also, but at least the ones with the money make the calls, and if they make poor calls, they either compensate by investing their own money via capital injection, or eventually they sell to someone who can run the club better.
