If you have been to the Allianz and listened to one of their club songs, the thing that stands out is they have a song in German with several verses in English like this:

"Champion of THE WORLD"
"FOREVER number one"
"We are MUCH better than THE REST"

You can't miss it, if you speak English. The message they are sending could not be more explicit. We are THE REST, ladies and gentlemen.

Fans doing it is fine. Almost every set of match going fans are like that.

It's the club hierarchy and players doing that.

Omar Richards might still have a future with them, he hasn't played enough so far but I think many Bayern fans actually rate him quite highly. Chopo Moting was bought as a sub anyways, kind of like our Braithwaite in the past and Luuk this season. Bouna Sarr is a bust for sure.

He might have a future, but when your team two years ago could bring Perisic, Javi Martinez, Tollisso, Thiago/Goreztka (depending on who started), Coutinho off the bench, and now you have the likes of Moting, Richards, Sabitzer (who's decent but not top-level) you have definitely declined.

They've pretty much gone the Barcelona 16-20 route of not buying anyone to compete with their first XI and also severely impacting their squad depth in the process.

Also their coach is still a work in progress with a lot to prove.

All in all, it's a shame we can't have a competitive game with them next season and have to thrash them 2-9 at the Allianz. It's nothing personal, you'll bounce back at some point.

Bayern is seriously overrated, and no this isn't based on last night. Any of the regulars here know that i've shit talked Bayern multiple times before over the past 2 seasons. My point: Bayern was shit in Europe between 2017-2019, Flick came and they had a monster season (then again only one round instead of two during Covid so asterisk there tbh), Flick left and they went back to being their old selves. People were just in denial and kept "rating" Bayern based off their 2019/2020 for, even in 2021 and 2022 whilst not watching their matches at all outside of one or two matches a year, with those being in the champion's league. They were seriously overrated. It wasn't Bayern that was a monstrous team, it was Flick.

Of course Flick had played the biggest part in their team, as it always is: the coach is the most important element in a football team and successes are down to him (well, maybe not for RM)

But don't write off Nagelsman yet, he is a top coach and very young. He will study this defeat and come back stronger

Rummenige (former Bayern CEO): "Bayern Munich have always had a reputation for being a virtuous and debt-free club. Bayern have never needed to take out loans. We should not take Barcelona as an example..."

Feck off. Most arrogant club on the planet, glad they are out.

Pieces of ***** running their mouth after losing to Villarreal. Love it!

We should not take as an example losing to Villarreal in CL. ;)

Speaking to Spanish outlet AS after Tuesday night’s match, Parejo said: “When the draw happened and Villarreal came out, the manager of Bayern, who I don’t know, I think he lacked respect for us and for football because he wanted to seal the tie in the first leg. When you spit in the air, it tends to fall on you.

“It’s just that in the end, in football and in life, it holds true for every situation… It’s true that they are Bayern and we are Villarreal. They were favourites, but you have to demonstrate that on the pitch.

“We spoke about it in the dressing room and it was a small show of disrespect to the club and to us as players. In two matches we were bigger than Bayern.”

Don't know what it is with Bayern and Barca, always these snide remarks from Bayern.

Bayern vs RM is a big european rivalry too, arguably bigger, but there isn't much "hate" i don't feel.

Do RM fans really despise Bayern or is it just normal??
