I think the 1 on 1 will depend on via seats sales being counted . From what I see of the construction those 2 vip rings wont be operable and ready to host fans before October or November and if that's a requirement to count then wont be 1 1 before winter break.

Why we are so in for City rejects?

I can't remeber worse plsyer to get then Ake.

Small, slow average and always injured.

Cost. Probably the only chance to get some players with experience in big games, like multiple CL semis. If you can get them for cheap or even for free and a decent wage + contract duration, not the worst approach for a poor club like ours.

But his injury list is a problem.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I come bearing gifts. I have found our ideal centre back signing for next season. And I looked far and wide and found a player most of you have probably never heard of. Now, given it's almost confirmed that our budget will go on a striker, this player has to be a budget option and will cost in the region of only 20m Euros.

His name is Emanuel Fernandez and he plays for Glasgow Rangers. He is 6ft 4, right footed, left sided centre back. Extremely strongly in the air in both boxes. Aggressive, loves a tackle, but not carelessly so. Quick. Physically a beast.

But perhaps his greatest attribute is his ability on the ball, it's incredibly high for a centre back. Super calm in possession, great spatial awareness and press resistant. Could easily slot in and play as an out and out CDM. Premier League clubs and Bayern / Dortmund are already interested, so if he fails the loss will only be around 5m Euro on the transfer.

Only real downside is the level he has played at so far in his career. Scotland is the highest. He was literally playing non league 3 years ago in England. But you just have to watch him play. The guy stands out a mile and is a very unique player who if he continues to progress can become one of the best in the world.

Best compliment I can give him is he reminds me of Van Dijk when he was at Celtic. Go check him out. He's the one to take a punt on for sure.

Dont watch too much Scottish football now as the level is so bad but he has been linked to bigger sides which is where this will have come from.

Reports last week about how many headers players in SPL make.. it is something like 50-70% more than players in other leagues.

Says it all about Scottish football. Its a hard watch and very very low quality. Worse than ever been.

Can Fernandez do it in better league where ball on deck more.. maybe.

The player of year in Scotland will probably by Claudio Braga.. a journeyman from Norwegian lower leagues. Says a lot.

Some fresh rumor that club is being interested in Gessime Yassine:

Honestly it could be a very good move. Of course we already have plenty of technical midfielders, so the question is more about the long-term perspective.

Sometimes these kinds of signings are also smart from a business point of view. If he develops well, great — we get a talented player for the future. And if not, it can still be a good investment for a future transfer.

Either way, with young players there’s always the chance that they surprise everyone and really break through.
