Barca attack overperform their xG as a team, and individually only Rashford and Roony underperformed it. The later has small sample size. That includes both Olmo and Fermin btw.

I didn't see him enough to form a strong opinion about the rest of his game, but this is a massive weakness and attackers from Italian league have low success rate in La liga.

Don't think he will be a 30 goal striker. But I can see him around the 15-20 goals easy.

He has a huge contract with Juve. Think its around 24 million or so. He has to cut it drastically. Dont think he should be getting anywhere close to 14mil a year.
Then only it will be a bit worthwhile for us.

We need to move past this position where we take on players other clubs discard for various reasons, like old age, too big of a wage comparative to their output and so on. We should have grown out of it already.

I did not know about his wage though so that could be an issue.

Obviously he's not a great pick but beggars can't be choosers and any money we might have should go to bolster our defence.

Can't imagine there would be money for couple of defenders and a world class striker.

His contract expires in the summer so his current wage doesn't matter. If he doesn't have offers for a wage on that level he'll have to accept a smaller one.

I'm not his biggest fan either but I prefer him than another season of Lewa if he's cheaper.

Many sources say he earns 22M per season.
Compared to pedri (12,5M gross) and fermin (6M gross).
If we give him more than pedri, it would be not good.
I think for the right salary he would be one of the best option but he shourd earn max 12M
I don’t know if he would get better offers, from saudi for sure but from the others? He is not the player he was a few years ago.

Juve literally tried to move him for free to save wages, and failed.

He has scored 20+ goals twice, 20/21 season when he scored 21 goals, and 21/22 when he scored 29 goals, but those includes 6 penalties in first one, and 5 in the second one. Penalties he won’t take here with the presence of both Raphinha and Lamine.

Also, Chelsea and Spurs are after him. So, he is likely to demand another big salary, for our standards

For the same wage, I would renew Lewandowski for another year and see who might be pop in the market/La Masia.
