Hell, there's many price tags between 1m deals on super raw players who in best case scenario would need 4-5 years to deliver and 40m deals for a top young defender.

Yes and Barca cant afford to spend now and these transfers will barely impact Barcas ability to spend all either when have funds.

Club are doing right thing and hopefully get it right.

There is no 'top young defender' for 40m that would not be a big risk.

Meh, they are probably trying to get lucky with some very cheap defenders so they can spend big on offense.

We will see how much money we have. Defender or attacker is irrelevant. If the main problems are in defense, you spend there. There's no such thing as budget to sign attackers but not defenders.

It depends on what money we have. And if we spend big money on attackers at this point and further neglect defense, despite us creating chances at ease and scoring many goals, while being shite in defense, then we will be morons.

No.. they are not spending anything of note on these players that hinders what can spend in summer on first team players.

I think same.

We won supercopa, have great chances in CDR, winning la liga and we are good.

CL we can get eliminated by any top team. Even teams like BVB could be problem.

I dont think we will win the LaLiga. If things remain the same, come March all of our defenders will be overplayed.
Kounde, Cuba, Eric. Fatigue will set in. I don't see us doing well.
Same with UCL, don't see us going through any of the top teams with a overplayed defense who are performing subpar from the get go.

We could very well end up playing against PSG, City, Inter or Chelsea in round of 16 of CL. QF is far from a sure thing.

Out of all these, I only think PSG is stronger, and I wont mind losing to in R16. Rest we can defeat.

But yes, with the defence we have now, plus them being overplayed, I don't see us winning against any of the big teams this season.

I mean, 2 of our youth punts are in offense (Hamza who is CF, Ajay who is a LW) and another 2 signings are Delgado and Yusuf Rassul Ndjai who are both CF.

Maybe they are just trying to get lucky in one area, in order to save funds in the other one.

It is completely irrelevant to make out these are at expense of taking a 40m punt on a young CB for example.
