I watched Andy Bara podcast and he said he has great relationship with Laporta, and they are friends outside of the football.

So, whenever he has good player we can count on him coming here.

There are ton of reports that the deal was identified by Deco's staff along Flick.
I mean it depends on which reports you want to believe, people always tend to belief the reports that aligns with their pre-existing beliefs.
But honestly, Laporta was never a guy identifying targets through out his Barca career, I feel such rumours are far fetched

I meant more that he is the first one in 10 years who saw what MATS really is and went for a new GK. Most of our former SDs and coaches would play MATS for another 5 years regardless of his performances.

Well, we should wait until it's official that Garcia will be in our squad for the next season, you can never know how these guys will fuck it up until it's 100%.
