I think Deco has a point here. Yes, our defense has been very shaky in the last few games, but it’s more about fatigue and tactical issues that need adjusting.

Which won’t happen again? Both of our FBs got injured at the same time, likely due to being chronically overplayed and we paid for it.

Going into a season with Eric, a makeshift RB, and Martin as our FB depth is preposterous. And bound to bite us next season.

Honestly, not that bad of an interview.

The way I read it, we know which positions we are targeting but what is remaining is discussing them with Flick.

Sadly, no defensive reinforcement there. It is going to be a winger and a GK if needed. The GK positions will be decided by our scouts rather than Deco, which isn't that bad.

Expect a quiet summer tbh.

He's be 3rd choice for the season, he's good but always has a few short comings and doesn't have the race pace to make up for it the way balde did when he came through.

Not at Barca, the sport papers need to drive clicks to there website, with no football.

Laporta and deco had to do their civic duty.

They both just said a whole lot of nothing or repeating things we all already know.

I knew we won't sign any defenders with the immergence of Garcia at RB and flick likes Martin, and those spots were the only one we really needed help in.

At CB we are well cover, personel isn't the problem there.

Good that he's looking at GK.

I'm even more convinced they will move for diaz now, they clearly want more of a LF that a LW.

If the price is right I'll accept it, by right I mean 50m.

If we had a CL final next year I have full confidence in almost any pair of CBs we can play to do well, if they aren't left hopelessly exposed.

Maybe 3-4 teams in Europe has betrer CBs that us, not than many top CBs running around top teams these days.

Liverpool and arsenal have some, after that I'm struggling, inter as well, but that's mainly down to the back 3.

Liverpool are top heavy, after the starting pair, the quality falls off, so we are left with arsenal who have signed nothing but defenders for 6 decades now lol.

City nothing to write him about, Bayern same, Madrid same, will see how they look with Dean and injured players coming back, but back 3 will save them more than anything else.

If I was deco, as I've said before CBs wouldn't be my priority, so I'm glad he agrees, fans just like to over react without looking at things objectively, personnel isn't the problem there, system is, once we make adjustments we should be fine.

At LB we need someone better than Martin, but I can't fight flick for rating Martin, even if I don't.

If he was 100m worth I dont think he would be playing in Turkey.

He's class, and Price has come down, could get him for around 60-70.

Who ever signs him will be getting a bargain
