So 60m with add-ons included is the highest he would go to.

Luckily for us I don't see Liverpool selling him for that.

I get it he’s not gonna reveal much, if anything, but why come out and talk? What advantage in negotiations of any kind does one gain by giving such a meaningless interview?

It's the opposite, though. The whole situation happened because the designated penalty taker at that time signaled Lookman to take it. Whether it was because Lookman was having a good game or that guy was chicken shit, I don't know.
But the manager straight up threw Lookman to the coals to save his face. And the guy hasnt said anything since. Quitely kept working.

I also think, because of this reason alone, we can have him for cheap. He wouldnt want to continue with this manager.

I knew we won't sign any defenders with the immergence of Garcia at RB and flick likes Martin, and those spots were the only one we really needed help in.

At CB we are well cover, personel isn't the problem there.

Good that he's looking at GK.

I'm even more convinced they will move for diaz now, they clearly want more of a LF that a LW.

If the price is right I'll accept it, by right I mean 50m.

I think Deco has a point here. Yes, our defense has been very shaky in the last few games, but it’s more about fatigue and tactical issues that need adjusting. Our defenders are fine overall. Maybe adding someone versatile who can cover both RB and LB and is comfortable coming off the bench, like Adriano used to, would be nice, but it's not a priority.


We were lucky this season that both Raphinha and Lamine stayed mostly injury-free, otherwise, we would've been in serious trouble. There's no real backup for them. If it were up to me, I’d prioritize signing a winger who can play on both flanks and a striker. But my top priority would actually be a goalkeeper (even though I know that’s not going to happen).
