I think their logic was to put max pressure on Stegen with the signing of Garcia and then re-signing Tek. This clearly shows Barca prefers these two over him and if Stegen wants to play for Germany, he can't just sit on a bench for one year and expect to start in the world cup. He is forced to leave this way. Otherwise he simply wouldn't leave. I think Barca has here more leverage because the World Cup. Otherwise they would have been stuck with him for sure imo.

If he plays for Bayern well, I think it could happen. I mean it doesn't look like they have many options.. Stegen shouldn't be one.

This won't happen. This was Neuer's plan to begin with. He wanted to play the WC, but not the games in between. Nagelsmann didn't allow it.

It's actually 2 years without playing, he already sit out one last season. No way Nagelsmann plays him in a WC after not playing 2 whole seasons before it. We have
all the leverage, Deco just doesn't know how to use it.

They have to convince Flick to take them to the preseason tour.

A lot of talent, if we find another Fermin/Gavi/Balde out of those I'll be happy. Torrents, Virgil and maybe Diarra have the biggest chance - last chance for the Fernandez's... loan with buyback probably.

Yeah I agree, play Mats in Copa and Garcia in LL and CL.... and I'm no fan of Stegen.
