Ansu Fati (loaned to Monaco)

Yea that's most likely what's happening, which is why moving to Monaco was a smart move for all parties involved.

Really smart actually, from a money prospective.

Nothing to do with ego and CL football, probably the only club in Europe that could make his wages work and take the chance that he might spark again.

Yeah, as I said earlier. I think financially this was the best club he was linked to.
Sportingly, I would have preferred him in Italy. Win win whichever way I look.

So I am happy.

Well hopefully he does well also otherwise it’s back to the same issue next year.

He will have one more season remaining, which gives him more incentive to move on. Buying him out could even be an option at that point.

It will be much easier next summer than this one. And that is probably why Monaco was good deal and wrapped up quickly

I wanted him to go to Villarreal the absolute perfect team if he's going to eventually win the Ballon D'or.

Football fits him like a glove.

Anyways good luck.

Monaco are likely only paying the remaining 15%, while the tax cut takes care of half of it.
Didn't the League 1 removed most of Monaco's tax advantages to achieve equality in the league? I remember I read about it.

edit: It's not yet official anyways.

As far as I know, those efforts were declared illegal by court.

Tax benefits do not apply to French nationals but that's about it.

Yes, but also, even if it were agreed, they would apply as FFP calculations but not be active in reality.

Are they covering any of his salary? What's his salary gross anyway, 20 mil?
His wages were meant to be 12M gross this upcoming season, he accepted a wage reduction in order for Monaco to fit it into their team budget - Monaco will cover 100% of his wages + 3M loan fee

It‘s a sensational deal that can still reap income should he do well in the coming season

Easiest money of my life.
Damn, amazing work from Deco.

This alone makes our summer good. Now its time to make it better. Give me a GK and ST, Deco.
