Ansu Fati (loaned to Monaco)

Really strange deal. I don't know what Monaco see in him.

They don't have anything to lose. They probably pay only a small fraction of the salary and no obligation to buy him. They can just ship him back to us without any cost if he's a failure. Another masterclass from Deco.

Seems to be a done deal. Reports are he is clearing his stuff from the locker room.

I hope he does well there, I have my doubts as french league is quite physical and Monaco is a top team which will demand high workrate from him.
Financially, I think this is better for us, as most mid table team wont be paying his salary. Monaco is a tax haven, so in turn we might have to pay only about 50% because of all that.

What do you think you get for someone who is too bad to play. Fati has the class of a segunda player with high wages. We can only hope for a change in monaco, i dont want him see wearing our shirt again

I would give him an ultimatum, either accept a transfer (it can be for free) or stay on the stands until 2027. That's the only option that we get rid of his salary. In that case he can decide between his career and money. If he chooses his career his salary is gone, if he chooses money we are in the same situation that we are in now.

Atleast he wanted to go.

I am suprised by that.

I really thought we will see reports saying he wants to prove himself to Flick and come back stronger shit.

He doesn't lose anything either. He will earn even more than before and he gets to live in Monaco for a year. The only loosers are Barca.

There is a principle agreement for Ansu Fati's move to AS Monaco. Ansu is more attracted by Monaco's offer than Chelsea's, after his experience in the Premier League. The deal could be completed today or tomorrow. @HelenaCondis

Are we sure Monaco are actually keeping their best players? A spot could open up for him in the XI if they have some sales.

Does Adi Hutter love to fix broken stuff because they're saying he's the one who spoke with Ansu and convinced him to join them.

The interesting part will be how much of his salary will Monaco cover. I hope at least half.

You're assuming he's stupid which is stupid. He's already been told he's not included in plans which he already knew anyways from this season. What footballer doesn't want to play.
