From what I've watched he's one of the best fullbacks in La Liga's current season. The whole Rayo team overperformed this season, and he's certainly standing out in that squad. Talentwise nothing special, but he seems tireless and very fast. Gave Vinicius a hard time, though I'm not sure if its just a purple patch and he might end up being another Aleix Vidal. Probably suited more for a team like Villarreal, but as a backup he wouldnt be too shabby if he comes for cheap.

His main issue is that Villarreal still holds a buyback option, and apparently a portion of any future sale. This makes less incentive to sell him for Rayo. He is their best player and selling him won't compensate them well.

However, at 28 (next summer) it will likely be the last transfer window they can get an 8 figure deal for him. So, they might decide to cash for highest bid, which is likely be around 15M or so.

He wasnt great last game v Real but has been good v them in general for a while and best RB on park in almost every Barca v Rayo game he plays.

There is issues though if still with Rayo at 28/29 and no other teams snapped him up as easily could have been done.

The argument for selling Kounde for him or another cheaper RB would be how could strengthen team from that at CB etc.

Andrei would be an option that would likely slot in very smoothly with little learning curve, plus proven in La Liga and has simply never enjoyed this level of talented teammates

Assuming Hector Fort is indeed on the cards for a 2nd chance under Flick, RB HAS to be a priority along with LCB, LW & FW

Bisiwu is Barca Atletic signing, not first team one. He hasn't even made debut in Belgium league.

A backup RB is needed, preferably someone who could take over Kounde when the later drop. Ratui seems like a decent option, but there have been history of players like that in Liga who disappoint later, like Javi Galan

But Bisiwu’s situation is surely a contract issue - coming into final 12M of his contract, he surely will be sold this summer, despite him being stuck in the youth team. It’s a genius sporting strategy IMHO, buy for Atletic and promote to 1st team
