From what I've watched he's one of the best fullbacks in La Liga's current season. The whole Rayo team overperformed this season, and he's certainly standing out in that squad. Talentwise nothing special, but he seems tireless and very fast. Gave Vinicius a hard time, though I'm not sure if its just a purple patch and he might end up being another Aleix Vidal. Probably suited more for a team like Villarreal, but as a backup he wouldnt be too shabby if he comes for cheap.

His main issue is that Villarreal still holds a buyback option, and apparently a portion of any future sale. This makes less incentive to sell him for Rayo. He is their best player and selling him won't compensate them well.

However, at 28 (next summer) it will likely be the last transfer window they can get an 8 figure deal for him. So, they might decide to cash for highest bid, which is likely be around 15M or so.
