It is a steal. No reason for Brighton to sell that low if it wasn't for the release clause.

Nope. No real interest. Some bogus rumour articles saying they are considering him as an option.
Even United were more "interested" than City.

Don't know where you get your sources from, but there was interest from Man City. Liverpool made the most sense to MacA as the competition in midfield is not as fierce as that of Man City.
No reason for Brighton to sell MacAllister that low if it wasn't for the Release Clause. Doesn't make sense for them to do so.

There were only a few articles hinting at City considering him. United links were more active.
My original point was: Macca was good in Brighton but went up a level in Liverpool because of Klopp and better teammates.
Improved defensively in the last few months.

He was class at the World Cup and for Brighton.
Wouldnt say he ha been better than that for Liverpool yet. Just playing in different position he has been getting used to.

Elite passer, elite Footy IQ. Hardly makes mistakes. Contributes defensively and so reliable. His vision and decision making is so mature.
Very close to World Class. If he plays like this for a few more months, he'll be a bonafide World Class CM. What a bargain! Macca Maestro. 🇦🇷

He's made risky passes throughout this season. He's just exceptionally smart, mature and knows when to play a simple pass and recycle. Never shied away from making risky passes for us when required.

Felt he could have done more and it was certainly the case when he was at Brighton and Pre-WC22 Argentina.
It just takes confidence and experience and think he will be a beast in that regard and taking more ownership, especially with Salah on the wrong side of the 30s
Bloke has been in incredible form, which is awesome to see

You have to take into account that the lad was playing as a DM before we got Endo.
When Endo plays, Macca plays in his natural position and is a completely different player.

The guy is tiny and hardly the most physical player, yet he gives 100% in all aerial duels and dives bravely into hard tackles all the time. Such a complete player.
